Pharmaceutical Form

- 2.5 mg / m 5 ampoules x20 ml contains bupivacaine hydrochloride (as monohydrate) equivalent to 50 mg anhydrous bupivacaine hydrochloride.

- 5 mg / ml 5 ampoules x20 ml contain bupivacaine hydrochloride (as monohydrate) equivalent to 100 mg anhydrous bupivacaine hydrochloride.

 

Indications

Bupivacaine Noridem is for:

  • Surgical anesthesia in adults and children over 12 years of age

  • Acute pain relief in adults, infants and children over 1 year of age

  • Bupivacaine Noridem is used to create long-term local anesthesia through percutaneous infiltration, intra-articular blockade, peripheral nerve block (s) and central neural block (caudal or epidural). Bupivacaine Noridem is also used for pain relief during childbirth


Product Information

Bupivacaine hydrochloride is a long-acting local anesthetic of the amide type with both anesthetic and analgesic effects. At high doses it gives surgical anesthesia, while lower doses give sensory block (analgesia) with limited less pronounced motor block.

 

Storage

Store in a cold place. Do not freeze.

Polypropylene ampoules of 5x 20 ml packed in cartons.
